Child Care
About Us

My name is Robbn. I am an abundantly involved mother, grandmother and extremely young great grandmother!
Many years ago while raising my youngest son, I ran a daycare. As he grew older, I made a choice to work outside of the home. I have worked in aircraft over 10 years and most recently I was a manager in a small machine shop. As chance would have it, covid would alter my life.
I made a choice to see the glass half full and decided to pursue my enthusiasm for children! I enjoy the chaotic laughter they bring, and the life they can add to a home. I love to cook and bake and will incorporate these hobbies into my daily schedule with your little ones.
I have a STATE LICENSED HOME, which includes but is not limited to:
-KBI screening for all adults
-CERTIFIED in Infant/Child CPR & First Aid
-Classes for Child Abuse/ Neglect, Child Development, and Safe Sleep Practices
-Monthly Fire/Tornado Drills
-Health Assessments for myself and my children
-Participation with CACFP (Child & Adult Care Food Program)
My home is equipped with an alarm and a privacy fence. I offer assistance with potty training, toys to enhance and encourage your child's growth, age appropriate flash cards, puzzles and arts & crafts. I participate with CACFP (Child & Adult Care Food Program) and serve USDA approved meals and snacks. Enrollment is limited to offer more one on one time with your child.
At my home, l will be teaching, mentoring, playing, entertaining and nurturing your child. I have a weekly routine that includes lots of free play time inside and outside, along with time for arts and crafts, both fun and educational activities and reading on a daily basis.
I understand that looking for a child care provider can be difficult, but I want you to feel confident in knowing that your child will be provided for in a safe, loving and comfortable environment at Robbn's Nest.
I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your family!
